Application Process

Pre-Professional Program

This year the school is pleased to inaugurate a pre-professional program designed for students who indicate a serious interest in pursuing a career in dance. This program will prepare students to audition for professional companies or enter an accredited college which has a dance program known for excellence.

The Pre-Professional program will provide student dancers with master instruction by resident and guest teachers in specialty pointe work, pilates and yoga, as well as proper nutrition for dance. Students are required to take five or more ballet classes with pointe, in addition to modern and jazz classes. These students will be encouraged to participate in regional dance competitions
